Hinduism was one of the major religions practiced in India. It is the oldest religion and the third most dominant religion in the world next to Christianity and Islam. It is the most dominant religion in India where it forms 84% of the total population. The religion is polytheistic (is belief in more than one god).

Christianity is also one of the major religions in India. It is the 3rd biggest religion in India. 2.5% of India is christian. Legend states that Christianity came from the apostle. It is the biggest religion in the world.

Beliefs and holidays of each religion
- Hinduism- They believe in one main god, Brahman but they believe he uses multiple bodies. They have statues and temples to worship him. They believe in reincarnation. Their profits are people that can see god and teach about their god. They have four classes that are each treated differently. They have ranks in this order- priests, warriors, farmers/ tradesmen, and servants/workers. They try to base life to be incarnated into something good in next life. They aim for four things in life;1- Live a good life, Help other people, Tell the truth, Do your duty (which is variant on class). 2- try to be successful in life 3- enjoy life 4- and leave the world to be with their god.
Holidays - some majors are Holi (festival of colors and spring), Shiva Ratri which is a night dedicated to Shiva, and they have Rama Navami.
2. Islam- They believe in one god (Allah), and they need to submit to him. They believe Allah created everything. Muhammed is the messenger of Allah, he received the word of Allah through the archangel Gabriel, they follow the Qur'an. Some basic beliefs- Allah is the only god to be worshiped and is the only god. Allah is perfect. he tells about himself in the Qur'an, do not believe humans were created in image of Allah. follow pillars of Islam- testify, prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage. pillars of faith- believe in god, angels, the book of Allah, the prophets of Allah, the day of judgment, and destiny divine decree. must wear proper decent modest and clean clothes. women not required to wear head covering in presence of her immediate male family.
Holidays- They have two major holidays which consist of Ramadan which is a month of daytime fasting, and Ashura which is a day of voluntary fasting.
3. Christianity- They believe in one god (god) who created everything. He had a son through marry named Jesus who was basically him in human form. They believe Jesus saved everyone through his death on the cross (now a holy symbol of christianity), and they follow the bible which is a mixture of the hebrew (old testament) and the new testament which are the teachings of Jesus. They try to live a life away from sin but know that they are all sinners.They believe in god as the father, the son, and the holy spirit, but he is one entity.
Holidays - Some major holidays of Christianity include Christmas which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, Easter which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus, and Sunday which is the day in the bible for rest and church.
